We're Nick and Philippa. We came to Calis for the first time in October last year, fell in love with the place and decided to buy within a couple of hours. Coming over on 1st April to try out a few more bars and have lots more rides on the water taxi - is this very sad?

Why should you be a sad pair, I wish I had bought when I first fell in love with the place, I'd have saved a fortune. I've been going for 4yrs now and bought 2yrs ago, that was because of Mustafa at Scarlett bar,he talked me in to buying a place,hadn't even thought about it before,he should have mentioned it when I first met him, i'll have to have a word with him,lol. By the way welcome Nick & Philippa, enjoy the forum

Welcome Nick and Phillipa- you're not sad at all- just very decicive I'd say . It took us 15 years and well over 30 visits till we decided to buy- just last year. We dont like to rush into things!- LOL

Welcome to the forum Nick and Philippa, we had been to Turkey many times but it only took one visit to Calis for us to make our minds up!

We didn't just decide to buy - we bought (not within the aforementioned 2 hours but within the week). So thank you all for the good wishes for house hunting but the deed is already done!!
