I think we are booking it but only after checking insurance details as I'm pretty sure my holiday insurance won't cover that.

It seems someone lost his head a few months back :( Stuck it out of the boat to try and look around a corner or something.

My daughter has just been on a 7 week jaunt round New Zealand & Australia-she did the Shotover Trip, sky-diving and bungee jump and loved it-she's a bit of an adrenaline junkie though. Don't think she enjoyed bungee much but others were brill.

We  did this Dec 04 and it was brilliant,never thought about insurance though, if you are into this sort of thing and are visiting Auckland, there was another brilliant power boat ride around Auckland Bay, They had two big RIB's, one had two 200 horse outboards and a slightly bigger boat with three engines, we went on twice as it was that good especially as the sea was slightly choppy.Also in Queenstown was a downhill sledge ride which you control the speed , so could go as fast or slow as you wanted,Enjoy !
