I wonder if anyone can help with what I think is a strange request :)
One of our daughters really wants roller skates and their birthday is coming up - but not the inline boot skates or shoes with a wheel on the back. After being quizzed by me, it appears what she wants are the 'traditional' roller skates like were around when we were kids [:o] - four wheels on a flat thing that straps to your own trainers/shoes.
Does anyone know if they still make these?

Lottie had a pair of the street gliders - they were fab, but you could't really 'skate' on them, just glide around looking pretty !. I haven't seen the strap on sort for years, and they didn't provide a lot of support for young developing ankles anyway.......try this link:
