Title: Britains Best Dish
Post by: Jacqui Harvey on September 15, 2010, 09:31:53 AM
If anyone is watching Britains Best Dish which started on Monday and is on Sky Channel 993 or ITV London at 5.p.m. One of the contestants tonight is Anupam who is a friend and works in my husband's office in Aberdeen.   The competition was earlier in the Summer and Anupam had to go down to London to film. He is a wonderful cook and brought in dishes for all the guys and girls to try out in the office.   Anupam is sworn to secrecy and will not tell anyone the result, so we are all keeping our fingers crossed for him.[:X] ;)

Well, he has gone through to the next round, well done to him, can't quite fathom out why the prog. is called 'Britain's Best Dish', though, recipes from Delhi, Portugal, Burma. Hey Hey, 'c'est la vie', I s'pose.

Yes, he did well although the judges are very unlikeable.  I think it's called Britains Best Dish because the population is now mult-national.

Yep, looked like a really tasty, spicy starter, still wondering why the lady who didn't 'cook' her offering, was on a cookery programme?? :-\:-\
