Title: minimum 90 day visa renewal time
Post by: hamilton on September 17, 2010, 13:46:46 PM
Does any one know what is the minimum time expended on a 90 visa is before it can be renewed.
i.e. 60days, 70days, or 80days or is it upto the interpretation of the customs officer on the day?
We are asking this becaus we may not be in a position to renew our visa at 90 days as previously planned.
It has probably been asked before!
Regards
tony

You can renew it after just 1 day if it suits you. They're always happy to take your money off you.

I have witnessed at Meis where a visa renewal was refused because there was too much time remaining on the valid visa, this seems to contradict what you have said?

I think you answered your own question on line two. This is Turkey and the passport police seem to be a law unto themselves. The meis trip comes under the Antalya province, where as fethiye Dalaman, comes under Mugla province, hence the varying attitudes and operations when it suits them.
