another legend bites the dust...
-
Shame, i rearly liked him.
-
How sad, a great example on how to grow old disgracefully! He certainly has a great life 6 wives,6 children, 120 fimes and he snogged Marilyn Monroe - what a way to live your life. RIP, I bet he can do with the rest!
-
Eric you must stop doing dead or alive on quiz nights...last night at approx 9pm Tony Curtis was one of the names for "dead or alive"? Now he's dead, RIP, and this is the 2nd time it has happened that someone has died the day after this type of question...
A great loss to this world. He always made me smile...

Great actor, and a sad loss, the vikings and the defiant ones, two classic movies.
-
And The Persuaders with Roger Moore (TV)RIP.
-
Hollywood Royalty A Prince Among Men (to steal the heading of his autobiography)the face that launched a thousand haircuts !
-
Best remembered for Some Like It Hot, I wonder will he be buried.
Sorry Tony :)
-
I'M SPARTACUS',!! One of my favourite films of that particular era.
Wonder if the modern day glut of so-called 'Movie Stars' will be around, ( & working), for as long as Mr. Curtis.
R.I.P.
Gordy.

all the teenagers in the late 1950s used to have a haircut with
a d/a in the style of tony curtis.
-
I have to agree with Gordy, love Spartacus, no matter how many times I watch it I always cry when
Spartacus (Kirk Douglas) strikes the fatal blow to Antoninus ( Tony Curtis)
and Antoninus says to Spartacus, he loved him like his own father
and Spartacus says I love you, like the son I'll never see.. Go to sleep.
What a great piece of cinema.
R.I.P. Tony. you have now gone to sleep.

Bloody Nora, Jacqui, I'm fillin' up now!!
Gordy
-
I preferred him in his comedy roles, 'Some like it Hot' being the best.
I never thought much of custard pie fights until I saw the one in 'The Great Race'. I laughed until I cried.
Here is alink to it on YouTube:

Me too! Thanks a bunch!
What a fab actor though and equally at home with the comedy roles as with the dramatic one! He will live on in the classics and 'some like it hot' is amongst my top 10 ! 8)
