Yep, school holidays Gav. Everything doubles in price. Plus, May is just about the cheapest time to go.

No ....however one of the lads coming lives in Dundee .... do flights go from there to Dalaman??
-
Not sure Gav, sorry. TC fly from Aberdeen though.
-
You can save a tenner each by flying from Gatick instead of Manchester ;)
With 4 airlines going down this year is 2011 going to be a sellers market [?]
-
£1000 is not bad, dare not tell you how much they want from ABZ in July, FTC

If your friend is flying from Dundee he will have to change at Jersey... That's as far as they fly to.
Re the flight prices, £1,000 for four people sound really cheap to us North of the Border, as Nichola says it's now a seller's market so welcome to our world. We paid over £650 each trip for our two flights in May and August.

C'mon now, the price you are paying for flights this year/next year, is cheaper than we were paying 7 years ago especially at the height of the season. With the cost of fuel, wages, food, airport charges etc going up and the number of carriers being less I think these prices are very very good compared to what the real price should be.

I spoke to someone on holiday who goes via Amsterdam or Germany and gets flights cheaper that way.
