Have received letter today saying that if you have Turkish residency Intasure cannot provide insurance but they can if you own a property but are not resident. Another turkish government rule I believe.

Yes, I have the same letter, their records obviously show (as long as you have told them) whether you are resident in Turkey or not. Anyone, like myself who isn't need not worry, your insurance is still valid.

I guess they will contact residents with further advice but if anyone is worried contact enquiries@intasure.com

We renewed the other day and recieved the same letter this morning.
By all accounts it's the Turkish government who have brought about the changes

Is it not more that the Turkish Government do not believe that Intasure comply with their regulations? The same would happen to a Turkish insurance company doing business in England if they did not comply with the FSA Regulations.

Or is it that the Turkish Govt. would rather you spent the insurance money in this country rather than UK?
