Seem to remember unlucky to lose in the last minute at Sunderland - got this Italian superstar Balotelli to come into the team and likely will buy David Villa or similar if he isn't ready for post Christmas push.

Only 2 pts behind Chelsea - who knows?

I think things will be good while the results are, but once there's a couple of back to back defeats things will start to unravel. Overpaid egos tend to fail to respond once things aren't going well.

Maybe - but when they pay Yaya £220k per week - anything could happen :D

Rather see Sainsburys win it before Chelsea, although chelsea have never won it, they have allways bought it. ;)

If the answer is yes, then it must be good for English football. The main criticism of the Scottish Premier is that only two teams can win it. If Man City are serious title contenders that moves the number of teams who can win the English Premiership up to 3 :D

Rooney and Tevez will be the final pieces of the jigsaw fitting together.

Stoop - that would have been laughable before the world cup and roongate - and although I am not sure if you were joking I could see that happening and it could work very well.

However logic says the wife will choose Madrid  :)

The wife will want to stay near her family, she is very family orientated and also has a disabled sister.  I vote for M.C.  Of course, he may be tempted to come to Liverpool!!!

The newspapers are already talking about obscene amounts of money for Rooney to go to City. 500K per week!!!! Is any player in world football worth that?

As an aside, Utd are already lining up Rooneys replacement...........................Torres!!!

Jacqui - good point - maybe this has got legs - we will see?

Ps As my youngest son - a solid City fan says - "United fans won't mind a pennny or two on the price of a gallon of petrol to finance our success" :D

Now Sir Miserable Sod's ego has got bigger than MUFC [:(!] I think it's time that he buggered off. He's got far too much wrong over the last twelve months anyhow[:(!]
