Clearly inspired by Scunner's birthday greetings to his twins and the relevation re the Toby and clearing off to the "the" internet cafe, rather than by the money-change man in Fethiye, I was wonder what members favourite pastime was when they were ten.
My memory is not that good over so many years, but I seeem to remember it was kicking a laced up football around cobbbled streets and up against metal garage doors which upset the neighbours no end.

My vivid memory of being 10 years old was getting an Annie Oakley cowgirl outfit for my birthday, it had a skirt hat, waistcoat and two guns in a holster. I took it with me on holiday to the Isle of Man and I won 1st prize at the Villa Marine children's fancy dress competition. I still have the picture of me getting my prize. I suppose times have changed now and a 10 year old would want a computer game for their birthday.

No highlights when I was ten that I can recall. I have a vivid memory of being six. I was at my aunts because my mum was expecting. I got a doll, a card with a foam six and a sister.

I remember my 10th Birthday. Hitting double figures was a big deal for me back then. It was the year I upgraded my bike from a Tomahawk to a Chopper, now I had gears and nothing was going to stop me now.
Within an hour of having my new wheels I had come the thing at speed and totalled the front of it, I had scraped knee, arm and face. To top it all my Dad belted me too.
Happy days!

It was the year England won the world cup so it was football for me all day long and only taking off my England football shirt when my Mam insisted it needed washing.[^][xx(]
