Good luck to him. He's staying at a club on a downward slope in my opinion but at least it will be off the back page after tomorrow - I hope.

Only because Shrek is a lieing little git who cares not a hoot about his team or success. He is only after those crispy little notes that line his wallet!!

I am a firm believer that Footballers wages should be capped!!

I agree wages should be capped but I don't think Rooney has stayed for money, I am sure Man City, Chelsea or Real are in a position to pay him more.
