Hello,
Paul and Lorraine here.
Have bought an appartment at Poyraz. We are looking forward to living in Calis as soon as we sell our UK property (Anyone want to buy a house in Shrewsbury!!! :P)
When we do sell the house we won't be taking the easy option of flying to our new home, we're coming by sea!!! Look out for 'Moon Monkey' in Fethiye marina and you'll know we've arrived!

Lovely name "Moon Monkey" and as a Monkey myself how did you choose it? Welcome to the forum and good luck for the move.

What a lot of replies! Thanks for your warm welcome. Moon monkey was named after a sketch by Trev and Simon on
Saturday morning 'Goin Live' telly program and is a sail boat. Costs at the marina vary according to the length and width of boat. Moon Monkey is 12m long and we will pay about £1500 per year - electricity and water are free.
Hope to see you all in Calis soon.

HiPaul and Lorraine
As fairly new members to the forum we were interested in your adventure of sailing to Turkey. We sailed last year in the area and it is fab. It was a toss up of buying another boat and keeping it in Fetiya or a propery and came down on the side of property for the investment. Perhaps when we can give up work we will have our dream. The cost is a third of keeping our boat in Scotland and far better facilities. So if you are ever looking for crew let us know!! regards Mary and Duncan McLelland
