We were in the Mulberry Tree when this hit. The road rapidly became a river with the level over the footpath. The steps opposite, leading up the hill to the properties on the side of the hill,turned into waterfalls.

been told Spirits up by approx 20 percent Wine by 5 not sure about beer This government dont like alcohol

I'm sure they do like it Jules! I mean they get all that lovely income from it like the UK government. We have a nice increase planned every January for the next few years I think.

we had a crate of beer delivered yesterday and the price had gone up from 53 to 60 tlr but still cheaper than buying individual bottles in the shops

anyway - back onto the topic of the floods. Has anyone been badly affected - house wise? Does anyone know what it's like in Koca Calis right now?

back to scunners point.....wine i believe went up 20 % last night...that makes wine even more expensive than it was before..is Calis/Fethiye/Ovacik/Hisaronu/Oludenis/Kaya getting to expensive for everyone?:P

Scunner's post was about the floods in Fethiye not the beer prices. That was a joke :)
