Hi There. We are having the usual BBQ (with 3 meats and 5 mezes), Bonfire on the beach, Fireworks, live music, belly dancer, Guy to be thrown on the fire and toffee apples. Sorry no treacle toffee this year, couldn't get the treacle! We will start about 6pm, BBQ ready for about 6.30 and light the fire at about 7pm . All for 20TL per person. :) Also Calis Carnival Committee have given us a hamper to raffle, so come loaded. We will also be collecting a lira for the guy - to go to the charity and a portion of the toffee apple sales will also go to them. So come and have fun and raise some money at the same time.

It should be a good night - we are looking forward to it.  Also a big thanks to Carol and Guven for supporting our children's charity.  As for the raffle it is a great hamper with loads of goodies including lots of alcohol, chocolate and PG Tips (thanks Pompeilil for the latter)- well worth a punt.

It was an absolutely brilliant night at Guvens - fire show, belly dancer, live music, toffee apples, BBQ, bonfire and fireworks. Carole and Guven were great hosts and it was a real shame that a lot of people who booked tables did not show - still it was their loss - they missed a great night out.

Really great night.Great atmosphere, great food, entertainment and music for 20 lira with two of the nicest host in Calis. Lounging on the beach in front of the fire on a November evening what more could one ask for. For anyone who did not come you missed a fantastic evening.

Agree with all the above lounging on bean bags wiv me mates round a huge bonfire was so relaxing.  Well done Carol and Guven you pulled all the stops out to make it a brill nite.

Well a big thank you to all the people who turned out for the Bonfire Night at Guven's, a great night was had by all. Despite the lack of turnout we still managed to make a few quid for the Carnival charity. We took 176TL on the raffle, 14TL from the sale of toffee apples and 43.55TL from donations for the guy. We will make up the difference so it will be a total of 250TL in total. Well done everybody! Hopefully if I can work out how to, I will post some pics later!
