Just wanted to let my customers and friends know I have now left Fortis Bank and started work at ING Bank in Fethiye.
I did try email everybody but my email was suspended.
If I can be of any help to anyone please contact me through my profile or call at the Bank

Alper - I fully understand the sensitivity of your move and the restraints that would have been placed on you by Head Office (as you told me one day you had been grilled for 4 hrs!!!) that would have made it very difficult for you to publicise your move in advance or to be seen to canvass for new business.
We wish you every success with ING and will be asking you for an investment quotation when we come over in Spring.
Ian :)

As always I will be happy to see you :)
-
I left ING because they were frankly useless.
Their 2 English speaking ladies on first floor were curt at best and despite having my electric bill on direct debit it was repeatedly not paid in time. They then told me to remind them each month when it needed paying!
Amateurish in the extreme
-
Ah but they have a pro in now :)
-
I hope so.Will see you in May Alper.

I bank with ING and have done since they took over Oyak bank, and have never had a problem. I think the staff are friendly and helpful, and thankfully it is one bank where I have never waited more then 25/30 minutes to be served unlike Garanti, Finans where after you have got your ticket, you can still be waiting over an hour later!
Hope to meet you some day Alper Good luck with your new job :)
-
The best thing at first day was we have a private cashier for customers and you are right customers dont wait here :)
I like this very much because this is really important for a good service
-
Alper - I've resent my email to your ING address.
-
I think this is ok now :)
-
Alper will re e-mail you at ING
previous one to profile
See you soon :)

:)
-
hi Alper, I emailed you but didnt hear back so maybe I had wrong address, would you be able to message me & then I can reply?
-
I replied :)
-
Hi Alper. I have had monthly charges at Fortes when most of my friends haven't. The charge was 4.5TL per month. Do the same charges apply at ING? I was promised that the charges would be dropped after seeing you but they stopped for just one month. Good luck in your new position.
-
Out of interest, as ING is a Dutch based bank, does that mean if customers who bank with ING and use their ING debit card in Turkey to withdraw cash from any Turkish banks ATM, there is no charge?
My bank in Turkey is a Turkish bank and as far as I still know, if I use any other ATM other than my own banks, I am charged. The charge may be minimal, but if ING does not have this policy, it may be worth considering a move.

Ann there are monthly charges at ING for daily account but if you have direct debits from that account there are no monthly charges
:)
-
If you have 2 direct debit like electric and telephone there is no monthly charges.
-
Thats what I wanted to know because we had direct debits from Fortis and they charged us 4.5TL every month despite being told they would be dropped.
-
Hi - we also have our account with ING, we have the electric Direct Debit sorted ok, but when we checked in September, ING wasn't one of the banks linked to the Feski for paying water bills by Direct Debit. Do you know if there are any plans for this?
-
we are working on this :)
