Hello, We have just bought a villa in Calis Beach and wanted to say hello and learn from you all as well as contribute as we have our own experiences.

Also if anyone can recommend contents insurance companies then this would be very welcome.  Thanks in advance.

Welcome to CBF. Take a look at {A Link to an old CBF topic was here - no longer available}13034 - Intasure are very popular with property owners here, especially if you need public liability insurance (for private rentals etc), and also they have a good record for actually paying claims, something not always as straightforward as you might think with some.
