Which artiste/group would you most like to see live?
Josh Groban would be my first choice:D
-
I think no matter who they are I would like to see them live to a ripe old age.
-
Pink Floyd before they finally split up ( but not front row seats ) I had the chance to see them live at wembley arena (The Pulse concert ) But whilst I was arranging for someone to accompany me... the tickets were sold :-( not seeing that concert will always be one of my biggest regrets :-(
I have to make do with the DVD ...second best option :-)
-
Rod Stewart
-
An audience with Billy Connolly (seem him once live this year and think he is so funny and in a strange way gorgeous and lovely too!
-
EAGLES!!
Gordy,
-
Jedward
-
:D
-
Definitely would have liked to have seen the Rat Pack in Los Vegas.
That is the one act I would like to go back in time to see.
In this era would love to see Barbara Streisand.
I did see Shirley Bassey live in Aberdeen about 15 years ago and she was fabulous.
-
the Chippendales... ;) ;):D
-
Bon Jovi, and front seats are not good enough. I want a backstage pass to John Bon Jovi's dressing room, where I have permission to do whatever I wanted to with him!!! That's after he's sang "Bed of Roses" to me.
:D :D
-
Mine would be..
the Rat Pack
the Beatles
Pink Floyd
Rod Stewart
Duran Duran
:D:D
-
John Williams
Aly Bain and Phil Cunningham.

If we're time travelling I would have loved to have seen Queen with Freddie Mercury. A big regret that I never got to see them live.
-
Sinatra with Jobim...
-
Rolf Harris.

Gordy.

I guess if I had to choose I'd not go for an audience with John Lennon, I'd be happy to right the wrongs of my gig attendance record and see Big Country live. I had the chance so many times and never got round to it. Now it is not possible, one of the drawbacks of singers dying without prior warning.

Wow Toky, bet that was a night to remember. We're going to see Status Quo next week on their latest tour. We'll see how they've weathered the test of time! :)
-
The Beatles ( always!)
-
We do Quo every December at Wembley and usually manage to be in the front 10 rows - they're brilliant! So now I'd say Rod Stewart.
-
Front row seats for Michael Jackson's Comeback Tour : :)
Seriously - James headed by frontman Tim Booth - Brilliant
Saw Big Country live at the Town & Country Club in Leeds - just before Stuart Adamson's sad demise - superb!
-
.. seriously .. any one from ever it would have to be The Beatles for me as well.
Today's music? It would have to be Lucy Woodward.

One of the few things I miss about the UK is going to concerts. Loved it. Saw Big Country quite a few times. You would have loved them Keith...better live than on album for sure. Stuart had a huge personality. Sad loss.
-
Marina, we travelled down from Scotland for the concert and got into St James' park so early, we got right down the front. Ive still got Rick Parfitt's yellow towel which he threw out to the audience LOL, (as well as a set of Showaddywaddy's drumsticks from another concert, but that's another story!)
:D
-
:D Don't throw them out Toky, they'll be valuable one day!!
Can't wait to see Quo next week, though my OH half will disown me if I start trying to catch anything they throw into the audience. ;)
-
Queen, without a doubt.
-
All been said but
Queen
Phil Collins (have seen Genesis)
Babs
Beatles
Madness (although I am putting that right on 17th:D)
-
for me it would have to be ABBA! they were a little before my time unfortunately :(

Must agree with that Sleuth and maybe Led Zep, with "Bonzo" Bonham, my other favourite I managed to see; Roxy Music 1972 6 rows back in Cardiff Capital theatre (now demolished) complete with Brian Eno, truly amazing !!!! :D
