Oh no it's snowing; I blame LABOUR!
-
In Fethiye Nichola ?
As Dalaman shows 22 degrees we assumed you and Dogan would still be in beachwear 8)
-
If it was snowing in Fethiye it would be the fault of the CHP.
-
Look at what the SNP did to us

We haven't had a single flake of snow down here in Maidstone..........yet.
-
The snow looks beautiful on the mountains in the distance, 24 degrees and sunny in the garden. 8)

Lucky you Mark !!!!
Hopefully we avoid the snow in our neck of the woods being Kent : :)
-
I estimate that there must be around 200mm here now and it's still falling:(
-
None here in Liverpool, lovely sunny, crisp day!
-
Around 4" deep in Lanarkshire. Stopped falling late morning but by the look of the sky more to come.
-
Been to Warrington over the weekend dry and sunny but really cold! Came home to snow in Leeds and still falling!

We were in the Broch on Saturday(did not see you in Tesco) and followed a snow plough/gritter along the road, towards Peterhead, so, obviously he must live in Fraserburgh all year round.
Now it's snowing in London it will be the first item on the news and we will be sick of hearing about it. ;)
-
Jacqui, thats a coincidence, we were through to Peterhead on Saturday.
-
Obviously much warmer in the Costa Del Peterhead than the Broch!!
-
we've plenty here in Glasgow too:D

its snowing here in shropshire, and freezing but who cares, ill be back in calis tomorrow.
-
I have just heard on BBC weather forecast that "fresh snow will fall tomorrow". Good. I wouldn't want stale or second hand snow to be coming down.
-
:DExcellent Colwyn.
-
ha none on the wirral but cold
-
We have a waggon parked in our car park with about 15" on the roof!
Good news is my son's train left York on time to get him to Manchester (taxi to station never turned up though and I had to have an hour off work to take him!) and the plane from Bangkok, via Dubai, is estimated to land 10 minutes early. This time tomorrow the lucky sod will be on his way to Chiang Mai and 32c. Fingers crossed!
-
gatwick and Edinburgh closed, fingers crossed time for some..
-
Well here in London (the square mile/city) its settled, which causes so many problems with all the train/tube lines, buses, the pavements are all thick with snow and mush, its silly how it all comes to a standstill. At home where I live in Essex its up to the top of my car tyres, not as bad as we had it last year (yet!) so im hoping thats it for now. Still managed to make it into work (so got my brownie points!) :) x

I "borrowed" this beautiful photograph of Loch Ness from the BBC website. Stunning isn't it..

-8 in Montrose this morning. Hope I get to turkey on the 17th no problem
-
It was -12 here in York I'm told and - 10 at 7-30am when I took my missus to work. Brrrrrr
-
foggy here :(
-
- 15c in York right now! Car had to have warm water put on it to open the door and it froze straight back up! Now the lock is frozen open and I can't shut the damn thing.
I'll have to wait for the sun to get on it or it's the hairdryer later.
Been for a walk for the papers and I've never felt so cold. Wrapped up like a Russian and still felt it.:(

Just been asking my better half how many days he had off from school after it had snowed? We were both brought up in Yorkshire in the era of the trolley buses. His answer like mine was none. We were allowed home early a couple of times if snow was getting deep. My senior school was 2 bus journeys. I remember at 13 walking in to town to catch the 2nd bus and praying it wouldnt turn up and yess!! it was cancelled. However lucky for us there was a teacher at the bus stop who said "come on girls we will walk" the 2 miles. How lucky were we? I remember my cold wet socks and clothes and legs red with cold to this day. Why do they close the schools so easily these days? If the heating was off we sat with coats on.. 8)

Because the teachers can't get in: :).

It's so cold here that the deer are in my garden again in broad daylight eating the bushes so I had to go and get some hay to feed them or I will have no plants left. I do like to see them in the garden so I can forgive them for eating my plants, got some good photos of them again this year.
-
Still - 9c but at least the car door lock has thawed. Glad I'm off work until Thursday.
-
My pal's in Rufforth Stoop, and she moved there from Scotland to beat the winter weather!!!! ha ha ha.
Ambulance taking my father in law to hospital today had to turn back as all roads on Loch Lomonside and Dunbartonshire were grid locked due to accidents.
-
I can almost see Rufforth from our front bedroom window - it's about a mile as the crow flies. No gliders or microlights out today!
Hope the father-in-law is OK!
-
You are close by then. They manage a Sam Smith pub, the Tankard Inn currently. Father in law doing ok just now, thanks
