I assume you mean Coronation Street? stopped watching soaps years ago, but I did see in the paper today there is going to be an accident at Christmas where an overhead train from a viaduct falls on a lot of the cast... Hope it wipes them all out so we can get some decent programmes on T.V.   I suppose every soap will have a tragic accident this Christmas..
That will make all the soap viewers get into the Christmas spirit as usual. ;)

I would rather have my tongue stapled to my scrotum (can we say scrotum on here?): :) than watch a single episode of Corrie:D:D:D

I'm with you there Eric, even if I don't have a scrotum to staple my tongue to.  (I am sure you will be allowed to say that, it's a valid medical term).  How sad to have to dedicate every  day/evening watching Coronation Street, East Enders, Emmerdale, Neighbours, Hollyoaks, Doctors, etc.,  It must be like a drug where you have to go to these programmes every day and night to get a soap fix...  Lets leave the soaps to the Grannies and us younger people concentrate on watching something sensible like football. ;): :):D

I am not a soap fan but I imagine that getting their 'Soap Fix' is a bit like us getting our CBF fix.

Isn't that a repeat of a storyline - i'm sure in the black and white days a train fell off the viaduct??

Am I the only one to stick up for Corrie !!!
Small minded maybe but there are a lot of lonely people; not all old folks by the following soaps. For some it is the only thing they have to look forward too; sad as that maybe.
We are not all fortunate to have active social lives or be surounded by a loving family.
I work long hours in health & social care and know how much some indiviuals would have litte else in their lives.
We all get our 'fix' in different ways.

Well I love Corrie AND Eastenders, nothing wrong in either of them, thank you very much!  :) And yes the trams have been getting louder in Corrie, and also have you noticed each character refers to, for example.. 'next week will be the best week of our lives' (peter barlow wedding) or someone refers to nothing can go wrong now, etc.. cant wait for 7.30!

Thanks Nutty  :) I thought my hearing aids were playing up!

As for Eastenders - never really got into it and when I do drop in they always seems to be shouting at each other in some strange tongue ;-)

I caught the end of it and nearly pished myself laughing! When Ken Barlow is stood at the end with everyone else on the floor it was like the 2nd Coming of Christ! :D

Some of the camera shots were awful with the tram.. Should've probably spennt a bit more than £1 million on it  8)

Keep up Bewva...they were attending an incident on the M62!

I don't know, these people that dip in and out and then when they do watch are asking, "who's he?" and "when did she arrive?"
Bloomin' 'eck - it's serious stuff this, pay attention or go put the kettle on  :D

I can see what you are getting at Patrice and appreciate that there are a lot of lonely people out there but lovers of 'Corra' are not all lonely and without a social life. I am neither thankfully and I love it! there will always be the knockers and some who think its uncool but thats fine- viva la difference!
I think that this week has been fantastic and last nights live ep was excellent! Not a fluffed line to be heard! Having said that I did notice the wheelchair girl stand and thought it might have been due to the fact that I'd been out at a christmas do and was watching on catch up with more than a little pinot grigio inside me! Proof if proof were needed that you can have a life and be a fan of the street! 8)

Molly has always looked like Chucky and last night she was well in character. As for the acting - I was quite impressed. OK some performances were a little OTT (Fiz and Sally spring to mind) and no way would Sally have been allowed under the rubble without a hard hat - still a good watch though and almost as good as Doctors  :)

I did notice the disabled girl stand up... a few other boobs as well for instance what happened to Sally's hard hat!!!!!Not sure she would have even been allowed in there anyway  >>> health and safety and all that..... but great live acting three dead one to go wonder who that will be [xx(]
