H - didn't know but I totally agree - the big fat classless one must be lining up a sale and wants someone more high profile to make his over inflated ship look more valueable!

Why is it "real nice people" don't last long in this game?

Pardew seems to be the choice. Quite how he will be an improvement on Hughton will take some explaining...

Well he does have more managerial experience than Hughton. Problem his record is patchy at best. Very strange decision.

Gavos - I dare say Gazza will be there with the sandwiches and beers at half time.

According to website you can buy a part season ticket. Don't imagine there will be a big queue for them.

Isn't it ludicrous? The chances of him seeing out/being allowed to see out 5 and a half years are almost entirely nil, so why give him such a contract??!! I'd love to see how many man years of managerial contracts not served that Newcastle United have paid out on...
