I paid 4 lira for an extra 10 kilos upon booking.  However, as I was still 4 kilos over that I had to pay £32 at Stansted, blooming grandchild!

Also, if you check the T&Cs on your Pegasus tickets you'll see that free insurance is provided by Chartis Insurance BUT only for Turkish citizens.

Answer; DON'T take excess baggage!!!! Let's face it, if you went shopping for potatoes, & they cost £1 per kilo, & you took 1.5 kilos to the till, surely you wouldn't expect half a kilo for nowt, or would you?? Hmmmm. Simples.
Gordy.: :) ;)

Hmm, Christmas looming and a 5 year old in the house, excess baggage, especially if pre-booked is a must.   Was worth paying the charges, to see the look on her little face on Christmas morning.
I do miss Cyprus Turkish airlines, as bless them, they rarely charged for excess baggage.
