Mrs Piscoe recently left me a lead weighted hint regarding a certain handbag she would like for Christmas. She told me that it could be found in M&S and if I loved her I would get it for her. I thought no problem, I'll pop into town during my lunch break and make the purchase and prove my undying love.
When did it happen that department stores suddenly turn into designer sectioned stores? What I mean is M&S don't seem to have a "handbag section" any longer but instead have "designer by designer section". I had to go round every designers individual handbag section 3 times before I could identify the damned thing. What an absolute pain!!

O.K. tip for men who don't have much idea about shopping. Next time look for the item on Marks website, order it and then ask for it to be delivered to your elected shop for free. I taught my husand this simple way of shopping ages ago. :P:D

Thanks for that. Do I take it that Mark's website is put into proper departments and not into designer departments each with it's own handbag section?

Yes, and sometimes you can take advantage of special offers on-line that are sold out in the shop.
