Travel Republic showing flights leaving on 5th March taking 6 hrs with 1 stop. But then again, do you need to get there from Aberdeen? Maybe too long also.

Sorry Dycedon, should have written they were from Manchester. Have you looked at flying KLM from Aberdeen to Amsterdam then seeing who flies from Schipol to Dalaman?

I had a quick squint on skyscanner - some of the flight duration times were horrendous:(

Can go from manchester and takes approx 6 hrs 30 mins but via istanbul, ongoing flight will be cutting it fine, there are 10 hr and 15 hr duration, will have to book an AI somewhere warm instead but would rather be in our own place.

Yes but you have to get to Manchester.
When we had our Christmas flights cancelled by BA we gave up after a week and took flights to Dubai. Couldn't be bothered with the hassle of trying to get there with 3 flights and wanted guaranteed sun after the weather here. That is the only problem for us NE people, trying to get flights anywhere in the winter!

Manchester does seem the best bet from our neck of the woods, I've looked at the alterntives as well, and the connection times are the bad bit, I'd rather sit in a coach from Antalya for 4-5 hours than sit waiting in an airport.
