Hi everyone

Just bought a place in Calis, hoping to be finished July just in time for a long summer break !  

Coming over in April to check on progress and hopefully look for furniture, etc.

We only decided to purchase on the last day of a two week holiday last year, and our first time in Turkey.  Going to need a lot of advice !!

Hi Sue and Dave, welcome to the forum; we all love turkey and like yourselves, we only needed one visit to Turkey to love the place. Luckily my Sue an myself will be flying out on the 15th of this month. as Anne says, it gets to you !

Hi there

Thanks for all you kind replies.  Anne, buying a Golden Moon Apartment in Calis somewhere between the Aqua Park and the Sunday Market but can't tell the you the name of the road just yet.  Going to be used as a second home for now.

Flying out on the 8th April to source beds, sofas etc., so will probably meet up with you all at Erin Spot by the sound of it !  

Alan, looks like we'll miss you and Joyce in April so will see you at the Bus Stop sometime in July to buy you that pint !

Like yourselves we visited Turkey for the first time in October for 3 days and ended up buying on Lissa Links like Nick & Nil.

Nick & Nil, are you by any chance out there 1st May - 8th May. If you are maybe we could meet up?

Hi we were over in Calis at New year and stayed in  the Harman hotel 100 yards down the road from the golden moon apts. We took a special interest as we might have bought one last year, The front block near the road is up and internal rendering taking place-no windows or doors fitted, the two blocks to the rear were just having the top floor concrete poured-they still have a long way to go.
