Post by: kingsgarden on January 17, 2011, 10:48:20 AM: hello dear CBF MEMBERS our sunday roast getting popular and i would like to let you know. i try to do traditional sunday dinner good value for everyone

SUNDAY ROAST starts at 13:30-18:30 and PAY ONLY 15TL

STARTER(choices of)

*soup of the day
*garlic mushroom
*turkish mix mezze

MAiN COURSE (choices of)

*ROAST BEEF (Horse radish sauce)
*ROAST PORK (apple sauce)
*VEGETARIAN CASSEROLLE

yorkshire pudding,roast potato,mashed potato,seasonal vegetables,gravy sauce

DESSERT (choices of)
apple crumble
any pancake(lemon&sugar,cherry,strawberry..etc)
fresh fruit
:) :) :)
FOR CBF MEMBERS *free transport to and from your location you dont need the drive or pay the taxi *+ tea or coffee
give us a try you will enjoyed ALSO you can visit the most famous lycian rock tombs when you come up the our place thank you very much

The food was X-C-Lent !!
Just one problem.. (Salih çetinel..love ya).. MORE APPLE SAUCE !!! lol
All is good tho ,, cause I spoke to the very well spoken english Turk.. (Salih çetinel).. said to me there will be more of it and that he owes me the next time I get over there...
He does a wonderful job !! Spot on !!!
Give it a go.
I know I will be back.. Group or no Group. Good stuff !!

yes jacqui we are on the same road but turn left before go castle we are at the top road directly in front of the lycian rock tombs hope to see you soon thanks everyone

We must have virtually driven past it with our eyes closed ! Loved the position of Kale Park but the food was inconsistent (and thats putting it kindly !!) so we very much look forward to finding the Kings garden when we visit again in April.

Agree about the Kale, loved the view but the food, last year was not good, anyway I think they have closed down now.[?]

And they say women are not good at navigation! I just went to Google put in Kings Garden Restaurant, Fethiye, Turkey and it took me straight too it. I will give myself a pat on the back that I did not need to ask for directions ;)[^]

Post by: kevman on January 25, 2011, 14:42:56 PM: It is right at the side of the big tomb that is lit up for all to see, if walking you most go up the steep hill.The walk around there is lovely, takes you through old Paspateur.You eventually get back on to the main road approx near the HSBC bank.The views are spectacular and food is very good.

Post by: Liz 101 on November 11, 2011, 19:44:46 PM: They have an ad in the latest edition of LoL saying they are open all winter, with Sunday lunch still at 15 tl & same times as stated in 1st post of this thread. It wasn't carvery style last winter. Possibly closed last Sunday because of Bayram

Jackie & I visited 3 times in October during a 12 day break.

Once for Sunday lunch and found the food to be very good, the sevice excellent and prices very reasonable & views to die for.

Salih also mentioned that they will be having Turkish cookery lessons and Turkish Language lessons in the near furture, looks like we will be taking our sleeping bags then. :D

The food is the best I've tasted in any restaurant in the area. The staff are so friendly and the views are amazing. Try it and I guarantee you will go back. Can't wait till next years visit.

Made reservation by e..mail, and turned up,to be told we don't bother to check email !
Put us on a table,and took our order,and drinks,the two ladies had soft drinks,both flat,they did change them.
When main coarse came I had seen more meat on a sparrow!,two ten pence size pieces of chicken,and a piece of beef not much bigger!
The waiter came over and asked what we wanted for pudding...
We replied one pancake and three crumble.....he then said.......as soon as ive served your pudding,can you eat straight away and leave the table as we have someone waiting!!! Couldn't of been more rude
Very disappointed after good revues
