As listed in today's Hurriyet Daily News as from the 28th January you will be able to fly direct from London Stanstead to Ankara Esenboga international airport with ANADOLUJET Airlines (part turkish airlines)

Flying each Wednesday, Friday and Sunday departs stanstead at 14.00hrs arrives Ankara at 20.00hrs all times local the report does not say what the fares will be or how to book a flight.

I have found out that you have to book these flights via the turkish airlines website

I made an booking (not really) to get some prices fly on the 28th Jan on TK339 oneway London to Ankara £99.80 + £8.41 admin/ticket costs total cost including all taxes £108.21 this is economy restricted fare

No one said you had to go via Ankara to Calis just advising you of a new service if you just wanted to go to Ankara, You could also try the new service from EasyJet to Izmir which starts in May
