I am sure i did that same walk yesterday,i went to vets next to turkish delight factory.my dog is like the little one in picture but with little dog attitude,will have a go at any size dog, i was so engrossed in the views and i personaly prefer that area to the new part.Next time i go down i will take brian with me as he is keen on fishing,

Poor man[?], looking at the photos you really have to suffer for your art, but I see  you're very brave and don't complain to loudly!!  One day we too will be in the same circumstances as yourself and able to take and post lovely photos of Fethiye/Calis.Until then keep them coming.

This afternoon!I have a collect a cat from the vet and take to owners, take some cages to some people and take some pics of a dog with broken leg and Im supposed to be at Tai Chi.... it's not easy you know ;)

Beautiful photos!  Like everyone else over here in the UK, I so wish for the time we can come over to Calis and see those views for ourselves again.

By the way, here in West Yorkshire, it's cold, grey, damp, miserable and just started raining again!  :(

I'm 100% sure it hasn't gone Ron - empty vessels and all that - it will be back with Mehmet, George and team all there. I remember a few years ago it closed for a big refurb and the same people then had all the conspiracy theories about who had done a runner/gone bust/upset the wrong people etc etc!!! It's all from the same sources all these years on, there's no story here - and all those spreading these rumours be there for the reopening if the food is free!

Beautiful photos.  We went to Xanthos last summer and thought that was a beautiful peaceful place.  Your ampitheatre photos are a reminder of our day out.  All the photos are lovely to look at when sat at home in the lounge with the gas fire on!!!! Makes it all seem just a little bit closer to us.

I also agree great pics - we have a apartment in Hisaronu.

Firstly, it isn't xanthos, the walk started in Yaniklar not too far from Calis, then by some wizardry we found ourselves on the Antalya road(snow) we went to the falls which is in North Antalya as is Perge where the ruins are, I am told this is the biggest historical preserved site in Turkey ;)

 8)now where shall we go tomorrow.....
