Yes there is...but only in the summer and not that frequent. :)

They only as far as Kinali at this time of the year. It's a 45 minute walk to Gemiler from there.
Once the season starts, most, though not all, of the Fethiye - Kaya Village dolmuses terminate at Gemiler Beach.

Very true, anyone eating at Gemiler beach wants to agree a price for *everything* before eating. It is a rip off place of the highest order.

It wasn't always like that though, Boss. When we 1st went out there to live in early 2003, we went to Gemiler Bay with the hire car we had, (I remember the dirt-track very well, still have the bruises!) and there was only one Turkish family there who actually lived there all year round. Nothing was too much for them, they invited us to eat with them, let us use their speed-boat to go around Nicholas Island, and were rather "reluctant" to let us pay. It was in February, and the weather/scenery was fantastic, with a photo shoot taking place for Turkeys premier fashion magazine, complete with scantily dressed young maidens!! Hmmmm. :P ;)

Last year we were advised that the restaurant to the right as you face the sea was a total ripp-off and the one to the left was recommended. We went a few times and always got our drinks etc from the restaurant on the left,it also has prices on the menu. It was always quite busy whereas the one to the right was almost empty, however their menu is very basic and service very slow.
