Title: Electricity wire locator.

Does anyone know where I can buy an electric wire locator? It looks like a screwdriver with a small light on the end which lights up when placed on a wall near hidden wires.Also any advice on what it should cost please?

Scouser, just Google it, old chap, there are hundreds to choose from, the decent ones will also detect pipe-work, stud work etc. Get yourself down to your local Screwfix or Toolstation outlet, and have a look through their catalogues. Safe hunting!!

Be aware there is so much steelwork in modern Turkish buildings you can get some very garbled readings.:(

Chris if you just need it for a few days, I have one you can borrow it has settings for detecting, electric cables and metal or wood.
