Title: Memory Lane - 1st Ever CBF Party (2004)

I was looking for a photo of the beach and stumbled upon these by mistake - the first CBF Website party (and probably the best) in May 2004 - £20 in, all drinks included and a buffet - still my greatest contribution to Calis life, the all inclusive party  ;)

I do apologise, I thought I said - it was at the Hotel Ernur which is a right turn off the main road towards the wedding circle. Things were great in 2004  :)

Thanks for the pics Scunner. How easy it is to be forgotten eh ?. 4th pic down - has anyone got it in decent resolution ?. It would be very special to me as older members might know.

Wow great to see you Roy!!! For newer members, Roy has the title "Father of the House" - one of the original members and indeed moderators of CBF.

You definitely don't fit into the "can't remember" category - you are one of the "never to be forgotten" early CBF crew, as is the charming Bernie, what a lovely lady she was  :) I don't think I have it in a better resolution, although I do have a suitcase of photo CDs to look through. Hope you are keeping well Roy!

Sadly he couldn't make it. He did threaten to come and sort out someone or other from CBF (usually me) on a regular basis, but we to this day have never set eyes on him!

Looking at the pictures it came as a total shock to me that I was there !! My poor old stepfather shown on a couple of those pics is no longer with us and of course, the legend that was Ronnie Lock from the Ernur has also gone. Sweet and sad memories.

Hi Folks,
Many thanks for the kind/unkind comments. lol Glad to report that thanks to the good old NHS the old codger is still alive and kicking at 76 after major surgery to sort my innards out which was quickly followed by yet another heart attack and other nasty things.
Yes Tinx, still living on Portland although my overseas traveling days are now somewhat restricted since no one seems to want to insure me any more except for a horrendous premium.
I still read up on the forum from time to time seething with envy at all you folks out there in the sun, but I had my share and still have loads of nice pics and even nicer memories.

Hi Roy,Glad your feeling well now we are friends of Pete who bought your house on Cicek,i believe the water is still in your name ha ha.Where on Portland do you live as we originate from there and still have family and friends on the island and will be visiting in May for a couple of weeks. lovely to see Roy back!
I was there that night at the Ernur, many a good night we had there, happy memories of stories from Ronnie and dancing to Eva Cassidy with Joe ( Rimms stepdad)
