I think tonite is the night when we see Torres 2-1 to the Blues
Come on you Blues !
-
I hope so, mind you Man Utd have yet to pick the ref and give him instruction about playing 38mins injury time if they are losing after 88mins!! ;)
-
Fletch - do you mean like Rooney - nudge - nudge - whack - whack - know what I mean guvnor :D :D
-
that's very funny...:D:D
-
What I want to know is will Rooney elbow Cole in the head, and will Cole retaliate by shooting Rooney with his air rifle?
-
OH Dear, here comes the "Green Monster" rearing it's ugly head again. The better team on the night will won, nothing more, nothing less.
-
They certainly did. Chelsea put in a great performance tonight something we haven't seen in the last few months.
-
In fact the ref spoiled an ok game, dire decision not to send Luiz off & then a completely wrong penalty given, no matter who you support it's decisions like this that spoil football these days.
-
What a great night:D the best team won, the losers will moan,
and its all to play for.. ;)
-
red eye's see the Luiz foul but not the off-the-ball attack by Rooney.....
-
The boy was lucky not to get sent off. Sound familiar? However a clear penalty!
-
in the words of Fergie, there was nothing in it:D
-
:D
I didn't see the game, Mrs H had the RC. Haven't read any reports.
Just glad that Rooney, Phelan and Fergie got stuffed this time.

I'm not sure you can include Chelsea into the "all to play for" but thanks for the help. ;) ;)
In my opinion, Chelsea won it fair and square and I didn't see one foul all night from their part. Man Utd on the other hand was kicking out and being very un-sporting with their dirty performance!! ;) ;):D
-
Good luck Fletch!:D ;)
-
Rooney was falling about like a Nancy boy (can I say that?) and in the end the best team won. Manu should have been out of sight before half time but they were not and Chelski stepped it up after the break.
Good result for the neutral (and manu haters)and it plays into Arsenal's hands.
Liverpool next :)

I was in the pub!!! ;)
-
Which begs the question - why was 2/3rds of my local manu tonight?
-
Just made listen to Phelan's post match interview.
If I thought he was a disgrace over Rooney's elbow, he has just mad matters ten times worse.
Just how many faces does that bar steward have. On Sunday he was saying that he had to accept the ref's version of affairs and tonight he's up there complaining about another refs decision.
PATHETIC - I ABSOLUTELY HATE IT:(:(:(

maybe you should ask scunner to set up a i hate manchester united section for you and your moronic mates then you could leave the football fans to actually talk about the games not just read about how much you hate manchester united all the time:D
-
now now Richie, freindly banter only please. ;) im not a chelsea fan but they certainly deserved to win last night. :)
-
so you call the rabid rantings of stoop friendly banter then....the mind boggles:D:D:D:D:D:D:D:D:D:D:D :) :) :) :) 8) 8) 8) 8)
-
I am not a fan of either clubs so I just enjoyed the match, however it was interesting to see for once Man U being the wrong end of the ref's decisions. Fergie is not used to that. Well done Chelsea for a good win.
Richie-r it is just wind up banter on this website.. So don't bite. We really don't all hate each other.
-
I wonder though, if Man U were at the wrong end of refereeing decisions last night as the reaction to recent publicity regarding refs being pro-United?
-
You will have to ask Howard Webb that one Keith,
-
They lost because, apart from the goal, they had one shot on target all night, that cant be the ref's fault.
-
quite right scunner.Luiz should have been off before the non existent penalty but not a word about that as not united
-
Well I am not entirely sure it was a penalty, so if it wasn't they should have been getting a point each, and the guy Vidic fouled to get sent off was horizontal before he even touched him!
-
:D
-
Where was the foul for Chelseas disallowed goal???
-
In Fergies pockets with the dropsies. ;)
-
what disallowed goal the ref had already calledthe foul before Torres put the ball in the net so the game had stopped
-
Rubbish, take off those red tinted fergie specs
Ancelotti on Luiz, yes he could of got sent off..
Fergie on Rooneys elbow, there was nothing in it..
-
in the words of Clive Dunne, they don't like it up em do they:D
-
in the pre match interview fergie said he thought rooney was lucky to stay on and if the ref gave a foul before torres kicked the ball which bit is rubbish.Personally i thought chelsea were great in the second half and easily worth a draw but maybe i forgot to put my rose tinted fergie specs on:D

Verdicts on controversal moments from the game from Goal.com
61st minute
Incident: David Luiz challenge goes straight through the back of Wayne Rooney and completely takes the England striker out.
The ref's decision: Foul and a yellow card.
Why is it controversial: There was nothing controversial about the actual decision as the referee got it spot on, but had Martin Atkinson acted by the letter of the law two minutes earlier after Luiz's challenge on Javier Hernandez, Chelsea's £21 million defender would have got a second yellow and been sent off.
The law: A direct free-kick can be awarded when a player kicks or attempts to kick an opponent, trips or attempts to trip an opponent, jumps at an opponent, charges an opponent, strikes or attempts to strike an opponent, pushes an opponent, makes contact with the opponent before touching the ball when tackling.
A player can receive a caution for persistent infringement of the laws, for example, a series of fouls. A yellow card can also be given for anything that can be deemed as unsporting behaviour.
A red card can be issued when a player receives a second caution in the match.
Goal.com verdict: The correct decision:D
80th minute
Incident: Chris Smalling brings down Yury Zhirkov in the box.
The ref's decision: Penalty.
Why is it controversial: It is debatable whether Zhirkov 'bought the foul' and took the opportunity to go over Smalling's outstretched leg.
The law: The law on giving penalties states a referee can award a spot kick after any foul which would normally lead to a direct free-kick that is committed by a team inside their own penalty area.
Goal.com verdict: The correct decision.:D
93rd minute
Incident: Nemanja Vidic is beaten for pace by Ramires and the Serbian defender tugs at his shirt, bringing him down just outside the box.
The ref's decision: Direct free-kick and a second yellow card for Vidic, resulting in a red card.
Why is it controversial: It was a definite yellow card and moments earlier Vidic made another reckless foul on Didier Drogba. There can be no complaints for United but after what had gone on before with David Luiz, they will feel hard done by. The United skipper did tug at the shirt of Ramires but it was no worse than had been committed by Luiz earlier. The red card means Vidic will miss Sunday's crucial fixture against Liverpool at Anfield.
Goal.com verdict: The correct decision:D but there was no consistency shown in the game by referee Martin Atkinson 8)

I'd join Keith! ;)
-
Definitely sounds like it might have potential :D
-
Why does Fergie forever winge when he loses
-
:) Because light travels faster than sound, meaning some people look bright until they open their mouths, ;)
-
Read a report today from Geoff Winter who says this is Ferguson's way of 'de-selecting' referees so that they cannot referee a high profile game again when manu are involved.
Simple really - he berates the ref in public after a game and risks the fine or ban. Then that ref, if he were to be in charge of a manu game in the future, would be under tremendous scrutiny and pressure so the FA don't let it happen. Fergie then only gets refs who will bow to his pressure.
Just another of his sneaky ways when things go against him. Remember the remarks when Newcastle were due to play Leeds? Suggesting we would lie down and let them win so that manu wouldn't win the title? They should throw the book at him and ban him from the touchline for at least 4 games - no make that the rest of the season :)
Now where's that new section ;-)
-
Fergie will get his way and Howard Webb will be appointed as ref for the cup quarter final. So Utd are guaranteed at least a penalty. Another one of his lackies Graham Poil was bleating away today in the Mail that Fergie should be cut some slack and be allowed to have a go at the ref because his tream lost. It seems that Fergie actually called the ref a cheat on MUTV. What a way for the so called best manager to behave.
Not a good time for football at the moment. You have fergie and Rooney's behaviour plus the antics in last nights old firm game. Rangers and Celtic still have to play each other twice before the end of the season.
-
fergies been charged....

Charged maybe, but does'nt stop him from playing sneaky mind games.: :)
-
5 match ban and a fine for Sir Misery Guts.
