Saturday 23rd April
American Theme - to the sound of the 50s & 60's Roll & Roll
Menu details to follow:-
-
That sounds like a good night:D
-
back to school sound fun[:o)] :-\
-
You could also do Vicars and Tarts or what about an International Night where you could wear any attire from around the world???: :)
-
St Paddy's night.
All fools night, (should win that:D).
Tramp and tarts.
Panto themes.
St Trinians.
Pirates.
Reggae/rasta.
-
How about a quiz night where the same smug CBF members win every time :D
-
Unfortunatly they don't:Dwe lost badly again last night:D
-
The 70s night photos looked great. Any night would be fun - specially if it could be held over the Easter holiday period, so we could come as well!! :D

and the Pookies!! ;)
-
How about an English night on 23 April to celebrate St Georges day.
-
Definitely want one over easter weekend !! preferably Sunday ;) ;):D
jive / rock and roll
easter bunnies / chicks (love to see tinx's outfit for that one !!)
Motown
Mobsters and Molls (American 20s etc) - but without alcohol restrictions !
Country for them there hillybillies....
-
Would love to try a themed evening especially the 'Motown' evening.
:)
-
How about a night where everyone meets up, gets paralytic, and slags off whoever couldn't make it? As different people won't be able to make it on different weeks, everyone would get their chance to have their life publically torn apart by so called friends. What's this theme night called, it's on the tip of my tongue...oh yes, EPK Night :D
-
As a quick read Scunner I thought at first it read, get paralytic, and shag whoever, now that would be interesting!! Play nice we are all mostly lovely here and enjoy good nights out and a good gossip the next day - ha ha!
-
That is another EPK game, hence the high divorce rate amongst expats [:o]
-
Well perhaps Scunner's idea of fun is not ours. We like to play nicely these days and just have a laugh.
-
Back to subject in hand - there will be a theme night over the Easter weekend and hopefully another one end of March - themes not decided yet - so keep your ideas coming....
-
easter will have to be a chicks and chocolate night ;)

Not my idea of fun at all, just a statement of fact :)
-
....that is irrelevant to the topic :)
-
It is relevant to my theme suggestion.
-
Count me in I can come as a chocolate eating chick no probes. Lol
-
Got it! April Fools Night[:o)] Friday April 1st ;)
Clowns, Jesters or anything you can look a fool in:D
(no football jokes)
Sounds like an idea to me! ;)
-
How about (as a serious suggestion :D ) a black & white evening? Not as in minstrel shows, dressing in black and white in the style of the people of the black & white era - Laurel & Hardy, Bette Davis, Humphrey Bogart, John Stephen...
-
Hi,
2nd April would be great as we are over. :)
-
Another great idea! hope you are writing these down:D ;)
-
How about a Baz theme night! Everyone has to come as Baz, how easy is that :D
-
Where are they going to find all the padding??????

-
How about a night where all the men have to hide a small rodent about their person and unrelated women are blindfolded and have to find it and guess what sort of rodent it is.
-
Would that been attended by luvvies from the rat pack ;)
-
Not a trouser snake then Keith?
-
If they look hard enough yes
-
And my Birthday!
-
Is it definitely American night on Saturday 23rd April ?
need to get my outfit sorted !!!!
-
So...on St Georges Day, English Patron Saint, its going to be an American Theme?:-\
-
thats what is said on the first post......have to say, I'd rather dress up as a pink lady than a brit abroad......!
-
Yes but the 1st post was edited today to show the themes. The 1st post is not the original 1st post, if that makes sense.
-
oh ! I see ! oh, well i don't really mind as long as its party time !! Just someone confirm so that Mr Pookie and i can get the outfits sorted !! (and Jules / Amanda - you coming up to the hills for the party ?????)
-
Yes American Party night on the Saturday 23rd - I think it is hoped for good weather where the BBQ can be used for some Elvis burgers!! Vicky Pollard springs to mind for British night ha ha
-
woo hoo !! Pink lady it is then !!!! brilliant ! Its a long time since I've seen Mr Pookie with his quiff greased :o ;):D: :)
-
So can we expect an English night on 4th of July?? Not only is 23rd April St George's Day but it is also the birthday of one of the greatest English playwrights.
-
And death day ;)
-
what what and what - who cares what day it is - it was the most popular choice and with lots of people here for Easter it will be great entertainment and all we want is just a bloody good night out - stop all the moaning and groaning, alhtough you have given us an idea for the British Theme ' A moaning and groaning night'!
-
I'd come over for that :D
-
Also Childrens day in Turkey.
and just for info,
23rd April 1900, the first known occurrence of the word "Hillbillie" :D
You never know when it will come up in a quiz ;)
