Title: Havas bus from Dalaman
Post by: Connor on March 12, 2011, 16:40:15 PM
We're coming over next month and wonder if there is a timetable for the Havas shuttle bus from Dalaman Airport to Fethiye Otogar.  I know they are due to meet incoming domestic flights, but I don't know the ETA's of internal flights to Dalaman.  The Airport website doesn't have a timetable that I can find.  I believe the Otogar may have an outgoing timetable, but we're landing approx 21:50 local time and don't know if the Bus will be running that late.  Has anyone got any ideas?

Consider booking a shared transfer with company such as Resorthoppa .... there are several others. If there are more than a couple of you it may even be worth getting a private transfer.

I think you can email them.
Link to their site below, it gives the contact information for Dalaman airport Havas services with an email address.  Just scroll down a bit on the page.

I've had an E-mail from Havas - there is a bus from the airport at 20:30 and 21:00 which unfortunately is no good to us.  But I'll have a look at Resorthoppa.  Approx. 70YTL for the two of us.  Anyone else going our way?

If you are planing on spending is 70TL, is this return for two, or is it one way?

Transfers for 2 return would be around £70 or £30 one way.

Would recomend the following, they have never let us down, they also will wait if your flight is delayed:

Good luck.

Go on to Travel Republic website and book shuttle transfer at about £14 per person return. Have used them regularily for last 3 years no problems.

We're going on 6th April arriving Dalaman at approx 21:40 - looks like we've missed the bus.
Thanks for the alternatives, folks, we'll check them out.

Try "Transfers4u" a subsidiary of Thomas Cook
Book via http://www.transfers4u.com
Less than £15.00 per person for return transfer from Dalaman to Fethiye area
On arrival report to desk outside main airport terminal, you are taken to mini bus, where you don't wait for more than 30 mins-they drop off at hotels/apartments (no private addresses).
A few days before you are due to fly home you ring thier local office based in Fethiye confirming flight time & which hotel you want collecting from - coach picked up exactly when it said it would.
Only drawback is they don't do a single one way transfer...you have to book a return journey, which you cancel if not needed!
Otherwise BRILLIANT SERVICE!!!  :)

We used Resort Hoppa once and would never use them again. Despite their promise that you will not wait that long at Dalaman for your transport, we were left outside at midday in the blazing sunshine for over an hour while the mini-bus waited off site because of the parking cost until two further aeroplanes landed after ours so that every seat could be filled. Even then as you can imagine it took a further 3/4 of an hour for all those people to exit the arrivals lounge and find their way onto this mini-bus.

I phoned their local office three times to organise the return trip and was finally passed from thei Marmaris office (which was the number I was given on the paperwork) to some real obnoxious bloke in the Fethiye office who then proceeded to shout at me down the phone that they do not pick up from private apartments or villas and that we would have to make our own way at 03.30am to the nearest hotel to be picked up from there. "We don't do the pick ups from the private villas, you should read small print". When I told him to STOP SHOUTING AT ME DOWN THE PHONE and that they should tell people that BEFORE taking their money and also that they had no problem in dropping us off at our apartment on the way in, he said I should feel very honoured and and he hoped I gave the drive a very large tip for doing this very big favour.

So, needless to say, Resort Hoppa are off our list for transfers.
