They never fail- just looked at a one way flight from Dalaman to Birmingham 01/07/11. Advertised s £64.99, when you go to book it, it comes up as 98 euros. The current rate for Euro to Pound is 1.13.That works out at 73.45 euros(£65.00). They are working on a rate of 1.5 something euros to the pound the cheeky gits. So 3 flights at £65 should equal 220.35euros(195 quid), they charge 294 euros(260 quid).Surely this is sharp practise to create your own currency rate !!!

Easy answer , don't fly with them use Easyjet or any other company that does not cheat their customers.
-
Do you know Tony I booked hubby a flight from Dalaman and knew it would be in Euros so I googled the exchange rate before the booking, afterwards I thought I am sure that was not what google said for the exchange rate, they will stop at nothing to make money, unfortunatly they are one of the major airlines for our departure airport so we dont have a choice not to use them and obviously they realise this factor.

Great if you live in England with lots of airline choice, not so good if you live near Aberdeen when only T.C. flying from Dyce to Dalaman:(

Just one of the very dubious benefits of living south of the border :).

How does this work out as a benefit Pete ?
