Title: Are people still going on holidays...?
Post by: nichola on March 28, 2011, 18:11:18 PM: Flights in and out of Dalaman start/ed this weekend.

Thomson flights to Dalaman start mid April and this year they have flights every day as opposed to 4 days a week last year.

This article claims holiday bookings were up 6% in January 2011

However I was wondering if the rising cost of living in the UK was affecting holiday bookings...

Nichola, We have booked to come out twice this year and hopefully my daughter, son-in-law and granddaugther will be out too, so three more customers for you ;)

However, it's not as bad when you are our age and no mortgage and young children. (and we've been through that too!) but we were determined we were still having our 2 weeks in Calis - roll on 6th May! :D
