Title: missing drop downs

Had system put on p.c. win 7 pro but now cannot find things ,i cant seem to get a home page come up when i turn on ,also have lost from top of screen ,i.e help button view and two others ,someone said it is a different browser i am on whats that and hoe do i change it derr[^] ;)

lance, i presume you are using internet explorer ? if so right click on the grey part where your toolbars used to be, then select 'menu bar'

That worked fine being a small note book there is not a lot of room on the screen the shop has moved my i think you call it a task bar to the side before it was along the bottom idid watch them do it i think it was right click then drag down but that dont work for me .  ;)

if you are talking about the windows taskbar with the 'start' menu button on it then right click on it, make sure 'lock the taskbar' doesn't have a tick next to it.
left click and hold on a blank area on the taskbar and drag to top,left,right or bottom depending on where you want it then let go.
right click on it again and select 'lock the taskbar'

Hi Lance, press the 'F11' key.  That should do it.
