Can anyone advise on the acual cost per cubic metre for water in the Ovacik area? Keep getting different answers. Thanks

About 1.85 YTL inc tax and KDV M3, before tax 1.35 ytl.

Can anyone tell me the cost of having council water connection. I think there is also a separate charge for the meter? Is there a monthly charge plus meter reading or just meter reading.

Just a meter reading showing on my bill, but that's Fethiye. Don't know about connection charges, as mine was already done when I bought

Not sure about down in Fethiye but the water costs vary here in Istanbul. The more you use the higher the per cubic meter rate goes. This is to prevent people from using too much water as it is a valuable resource. Also those with swimming pools, it is cheaper to fill your pool up with water from a tanker then it is from the tap.

In Tasyaka, its 1.5ytl per unit

Many thanks but would still like to know how much it will cost me to get connected to the water. The pipes are outside in the road.
