Hi everyone, I stumbled accross this site when browsing for things to do in Calis ready for when my family and myself come for 2 weeks in August. After reading some of the great ideas and advice I am thinking I will need 2 months not 2 weeks to fit in everything I want to do!
I have read so much information on here that has helped so just wanted to say thanks to everyone who posts. We are a family of 4, all veggie and my son is also the worlds worst eater so have been worried how he will cope but feel better about it now. From reading bits on here we have decided already what trips we want to do and are looking forward to it more than ever! Cant wait to be there!

Welcome Suzanne to the forum. As valleyboy says, there is a huge variety of food on offer. My Son came with us for the first time last year and is also very fussy but he got on just fine.

I agree with valleyboy, I couldn't imagine being vegetarian until I discovered Turkish cuisine - it's so fresh and diverse that I could there (but I won't ;) )

Welcome to CBF Suzanne, there is a lot to do in this area and the good news is you can come again and again and take your time to see it all.
Lots of lovely mezes, many vegetarian are sold at many of the restaurants and most places will rustle up egg and chips even if its not on the menu :)
You will find people most accommodating :D
