Title: Mis-selling scandal - another one! Can you claim?

The banking industry has been accused of mis-selling PPI's (Payment Protection Insurance) on a huge scale, generating many millions of pounds in profits (for themselves) by selling insurance that people were unaware they were paying for or did not need, or on which they could not claim.

If you believe that you were mis-sold a PPI now is the time to make a complaint as you may be entitled to a reibursement of your PPI premiums, plus interest, if the bank or other firm concluded that you would not have bought the policy in the first place if you had been fully aware of the policy's details.

A similar reimbursement could be due to those customers that paid for a policy in full up-front.

I got an unsolicited call on my mobile today. How they got the mobile I'm not sure

The caller rabbited on for ages asking questions about the loan our circumstances etc., etc.

Eventullay after the hard sell and the stressing of the no win no fee basis, they finally got around to telling me their Fee - 39 % plus VAT.

It's quite easy to make a claim yourself. Go to money saving expert.com and download the letter of complaint forms. I did it for my sister and got £10.000. back.
