Hi all, we are Linda and Colin and we live in Devon.  We have recently bought an apartment in Ovacik and we're going there in early April to furnish it.  It would be great to hear from anyone who has a place here or near so that we can get to know our neighbours.:D

We've been holidaying in Turkey every year for the past 8 years and every year we do a Gulet Cruise for at least 2 weeks (we're obsessed with them) and so it would also be great to hear from any of you with a similar interest.

Thanks to you all for the info on this site - it's brilliant and really helpful.

Congratulations on your purchase.
We have had an apartment at the odek complex in Ovacik since 2003, we love it there and wish we could go more often but are stuck with school hols.  

We are also very fond of calis and often spend time there when we are over, in fact we were going to buy there originally and like to keep up with the gossip via the forum.  As you say it's a mine of information.

Where have you bought by the way?

We have bought at "Primrose Gardens" through Orka.  It's just a small complex of 8 apartments but they're lovely with spectacular views!

We too like Calis and thought of buying there.  It's a lovely place.  

If we are in Ovacik at the same time in the future it would be nice to say hello.

I've never done one of those Gulet holidays in fear of shacking up with I don't like for 2 weeks... Can you imagine Peter Andre and Jordan.... (shudder)[xx(]
