My daughter returns from Calis on Friday with Onur but her flight is now from Bodrum and not Dalaman, i remember this happening a while back to other cbf memebers, can you tell me what happens because she is a bit worried about it. Do you check in at Dalaman then get bussed to Bodrum?
-
We have done the journey the other way round got changed to arrive at Bodrum instead of Dalaman and Bodrum was treated as our arrival airport where we collected our luggage and purchased visas then we were bussed to Dalaman. I would have thought she will get bussed from Dalaman to Bodrum and check in at Bodrum as that is where her plane will leave from, could she maybe phone the company she booked her flight with and get them to say exactly what is what just to be on the safe side?
I can honestly say though that the bus journey from Bodrum to Dalaman was no where near as bas as I thought it was going to be and would do it again if that was the only option on offer for me to get to Turkey. I am sure your daughter will be fine.

Unless you have been specifically told by the airline she is going to have to make her own way to Bodrum and check in there. Perhaps there are others in this position and can share the additional transfer costs.

How long does the drive take from Bodrum to Dalaman? It might be an option to fly to Bodrum instead of Dalaman this year if the drive is not too long. Sorry in advance if this is in the wrong place.
Thanks

Around 2.50 hours but dependent on traffic particularly between Bodrum and the turning near Mugla.
-
I would say around 3 hours, but there are road works being done all over, so maybe longer if held up in these.
-
OMG thats horrendous hope she gets sorted! Typical Onur though- no way would I be going to Bodrum and busing it given a choice.
-
Thanks for your replies, im waiting for them to ring me back and let me know, im sure you are right though Karennina. It will be quite an experience for her lol x

Its 3 hours if driving fast. Most drivers would take 3 1/2 hours
