:) headaches, just thought I would share, ;)

I collect old, unusual shaped china cups and saucers. Not whole tea sets, just individual ones. I also collect old hairdressing memorabillia, open razors, real hair beaded hairnets, clippers, etc. I am still searching for an old, original salon price list, if any of you come upon one on your travels.
:D

I used to collect footy badges, but then I grew up.:P ,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,, I think. ;)
-
I'm a right saddo, I collect very old postcards of where I live and my home town, and we also have a strange collection - we buy a decoration of some sort for our Christmas Tree from every place we visit. Yes, I know :-\
-

I'm loving the idea of a "Calis Christmas Tree" now :)
All you have, add some boxes of hooky perfume and hang flimsy sunglasses glinting in the fairy lights, what's not to like :D
-
:D Christmas will never be the same again, well not for me anyway.the Efes will replace the hot toddy, too many visions, the fairy will be replaced by a blob of rice, :o

I have a nice collection of dust, indoor and outdoor dust, does anyone have any swaps as I have several double dusts?
-
I have a load of counterfeit DVD's with very grainy pictures that would look great on a crimbo tree.
-
I collected Belleek Irish Pottery, but I had to stop as I had so much I ran out of places to put it.
Things not to collect, anything brass or copper. All this stuff has died a death because nobody wants to clean it.
Take a look around the house any ornament or vase that has "Moorcroft" on the bottom is a sure fire winner. Moorcroft pottery is red hot just now and making lots of money at Auction.
Also vintage clothes accessories and shoes are really making it big. The fashion has started because lots of famous woman including film stars are wearing vintage. However, vintage must be in immaculate condition.

My Dad thinks my Mum collects Fishfingers[?] they moved recently and he found several packets in the bottom of the freezer that were older than me :o:D
-
I think I collect tshirts! I have a fav stall at the Fethiye market where I buy cotton trader tshirts for £1.40, sometimes £2. I think last week I bought around 20 and do so every time I visit.
-
Oh and I forgot to mention handbags and birkenstocks, I have sooo many!

I collect buttons and beads, not for any monetary value. My daughter used to play with her Nans button jar and sadly it was thrown in a skip when she died. My daughter was really upset as she always said the only thing she wanted of her Nans was the buttons. I am trying to start another another collection. Any donations I would be very grateful. I even take shirt buttons off if its no good for the 3 C,s committee stall!!!!
-
Oh busybee that bought back memories ! i used to play with my Nan's button tin too !! simple pleasures [^]
-
They were hard times but they were good times etc
-
I usually buy some postcards of places I have visited. As well as hundreds of pictures. Memories come flooding back when you look through them.
