is anyone getting the same message as me on their website "they have had to suspend the 2012 flights for now due to being flooded with calls for the flights or words similar to that effect!"

Just managed to book sept but went on again now only 2011 again what a nightmare took nearly 4 hours in total but only paid £287 for two all in so i suppose worth the problems :D

that is was it Puma never known anything like it am going to keep trying tho as I got as far as seeing the price for school summer hols next year and it was £60 outwards :)

Well i am truly cheesed off, i've been trying since 11.30 this morning and still can't get blinking booked! It is so annoying, thing is if they hadn't of sent the blinking email out we wouldn't have had this problem [:(!]
Looks like we will be paying a massive amount from Newcastle [:(!]

Just keep tryin Dizi I have been at for ages as well, I managed to get a flight for May 2012 and then it crashed, hopefully if they have suspended the bookings on the internet fingers crossed the cheap seats will still be tomorrow I am not giving up yet!:D

i got all the way through, got the prices, through to the extras and then "and error as occurred" [:(!] i'm still refreshing the page hoping they come back up.
I hope they are still cheap tomorrow because it's the difference between 2 or 3 holidays for us to our little piece of heaven ;)

I booked all ours on the phone this afternoon.....the girl sounded really cheesed off, but then again I wasn't too chuffed waiting 45 minutes on hold.....
Still, wanted the bank holiday week so was worth the wait.....

Your determination will pay off I'm sure. At least with working in a school, we know exactly when we have to book our holidays! I'll keep trying today (at break time, lunch time and after school! No time in between! [:(!] )
Stoop - have you seen the price of the FTC flights? £359 each, without extras, for half term week in May. I bet they don't have a rush on today! :o

Yes I am not givng up Julie, I looked at the TC ones what a rip off for the dates I want next summer £300 each way I wont pay that out of priciple:(the times I managed to get as far as nearly completing my booking yesterday it was £140 return for four weeks next summer holidays:D

Aegean still showing as 2011 only:( Re FTC flights - they are always extortionate 12 months in advance. I have found the best time to book FTC flights is the last week of January, first week Feb when they reduce them right down. We have booked with FTC for the past three years and got good prices when booking in January, compared to what they were six months previously.... Its a game with FTC...they are up down up down....and of course they always have a "sale ends mindnight Monday!" disclaimer.

After being on constant redial and trying 90+ times this morning I have finally got through to aegean and have booked all of my flights for next year.......... £127 return from Newcastle......... i'm now one happy bunny :D

For thoose still trying to get flights try this number 01273 426430 I just got of the phone with them after being on hold for 2mins and got 5x seats rtn for £704 with baggage for Edinburgh June 26th- July 17th :D.

Thank you very much for that info Jacqtay I got straight thru on the phone so all done, prices have gone up slightly since yesterday to what I saw on the website before it crashed so my advice is to phone that number and book over the phone so you dont end up not getting a bargain long live CBF for all things like this :D 8)

Its absolutely jammed up the website I've booked and paid for 3 sets of flights but don't know if they've taken my money or not as last page flashed up Error message, I'm waiting for them to ring me back. Price started at £127 and last time I looked it was £154 so rising fast :o

Well done Julie :)I asked about the Easter Hols for next year, our schools finish on Friday 30th March (too early) and return on Monday 16th April,the girl I dealt with said the first flights from Gatwick next year are on the 27th April, but she said they may add some flights at a later date for Easter (I hope so) 8)

Approx £150 each return which is great from Glasgow. The times are reasonable too but I'll bet they get changed

Brilliant Anne, thank you to who posted the thread about the flights going on sale as I would never have known that next year's flights had been released :)I am not holding my breath that my bookings wont incur some changes just going to hope they wont be too drastic!
Surely if the flights all get sold out there will be no need for changes, still not going to worry myself already about fourteen months away:D

I booked my flights this morning and eventually got my invoice about 6pm but they had made a booboo and booked completely different return dates on all of my flights, I rang them up and eventually got through and they changed them no problem without charge!
They did say that it would take a long time for everything to come through as they had been inundated with bookings etc.
But I would advise everyone to make sure they check their dates and times etc

Flight Price
2 x Adults (£365): £730
2 x 15kg Baggage Outbound (£6): £12
2 x 15kg Baggage Inbound (£6): £12
2 x Atol Protection Charge (£2.50): £5
2 x Fuel Surcharge (£25): £50
Total Holiday Price: £809
:oWont be booking them at that price!!
Oops, just seen that I didnt change the drop down field to 2012, and this quote is for Sept '11!

I finally managed to get my 2 flights for June and September,2012 and printed the booking confirmation and confirming e mail for them.
On checking my credit card account I found I had 5 deductions for flights.
The additional 3 appear to be from attempts to book when the transaction was terminated by Aegean Flights due to error or being timed out.
Might be a good idea for others to check their credit card accounts.

Booked 3 weeks for sept 2012 for me and Stu £320 for both....brill......I will grit my teeth for the journey...and look forward to the flight changes nearer the time :D

Check your invoice when you receive it, I've been charged £5 credit card fee even though paid with debit card.
Just called them and they're going to credit it back...

just got email through for the flight that I booked online (which didnt appear to have gone through!) but nothing for the flights booked over the phone (completely different booking numbers.....) confusion!!! Rang the office, they sound completely up the wall! They confirmed the phone bookings and have now cancelled the online booking........watch this space! :))

Really happy about that, 3 weeks of bliss...will not want to come back.....well I never do anyway come to think of it!!!!

I agree this year's are now shocking they are from Newcastle as well. I always book with Onur a year in advance it means i can have more holidays :D. I wouldn't pay £300+ for a flight only, you can practically go to the Caribbean for that!!

Am more then happy with my flights that I finally got for 2012, but can not believe that I looked at some more today with Aegean for June next year and in the price breakdown there is acharge of £10 for a late booking charge, how can that possibly be legal when the said flight is more then a year away yet[?]

We've got flights from Manchester for May, July and late August, all at £143. More than happy with that 8) I've just got to cancel the double booked one for August [:(!]

I did not think I did, but I have just put some random dates in for June 12 and it is not showing a late booking fee today so possibly:Dalso the luggage defo said £6 each way yesterday but is back to showing £7 today.

Kenkay, I have also got double booked flights, and double payments taken from my bank account! Rang Aegean a few times, each time they are telling me that I will receive confirmation of my correct booking, but I am still waiting and am also still waiting for a refund of the money I have paid out. Bit concerned now.....

I have mailed them several times and I always get a reply that appears to be automated asking me to ring them. I am currently in Calis so there is no way that I'm going to sort it by phone [:(!] They got my 1st mail within 6 hours of finding the error so they will have no choice but to reimburse me for the overbooked flight 8)
