To be honest I didn't care about JT's affair and I don't care about Ryan Giggs's affair. But I do agree that the outrage about JT seems to do disproportionate in comparison. :(

Your inconsistency point is well made Tink.

Well it would be if I knew who JT was ;).

I assume it's John Terry. Ryan Giggs is a disgrace and he can't imagine the irrepairable damage he's caused to his family

I agree, however JT's performance in bed was what everyone cared about when the World cup was on. There's only one England captain, one england captain, there's only one England captain. ;)

hahahaha!!  laffa I'm in total agreement there.

I have very little time for football and premiership footballers in particular, too much money and so many people falling over themselves to tell them how wonderful they are - but this latest revelation about Giggs must be the lowest of the low -an affair with his brother's wife lasting 8 years!!

Disgraceful little creep!!  :-\

My opinion John, behaving like most overpaid £200.000 plus per week  players, and hate it when they get caught, sad sad football days.:(

I do not have a problem with Ryan's lifestyle.  The gutter press and malicious gossips, however, really get up my nose.

Giggs is the most obnoxious footballer I have ever met. A few years ago he was returning from injury so was playing for Utd reserves at my local club. I opened the ground early and was standing on the pitch with my Two young children and out walked Giggs onto the pitch. My kids were so excited, they ran up to him and asked him for his autograph. He completely blanked them and walked back into the dressing room!!!! I was so bloody furious I marched after him and made the little sh1t sign their autograph books. What a horrible man he was then and still is by the looks of it!!!

I was on holiday when this thread was started Tinxs,( I thought you knew that as when I left off the dog stuff with Nichola I was told you were away too). However, I feel the same about Giggs and Rio as I do about John Terry, nothing to pick from any of them.
They are all cheating so and so's.  I just cannot understand why these woman who married these guy and are publically humiliated always stick with them.
It must be really unthinkable to be de-wagged.
Totally baffling.

Jacqui I am not sure that it is an exclusive Wag thing.  I am sure we all know some women (non WAG) who are treated badly by their partner, yet they go back time and time again for further hurt and humiliation by the same man.  I can't explain it, and more worrying is the fact that most of these women, who know what they are doing, can't explain either... it's a strange olde world

O.K. but, some non Wag women do leave their cheating partners.  The only WAG I can think of that has left her husband after he cheated was Cheryl Cole, however, even after he cheated on her five times she is now back with him.  Every other Wag that has been in the news in the last 10 years has always humiliated herself by staying with the git. :o

I cannot see how money has anything to do with it Tinx as a WAG who divorced her footballer husband would get a large amount of cash in a settlement.  I am sure Giggs wife could have taken him to the cleaners.[:(!]

if there was no money she wouldnt be a wag in the first place, they would also lose their celebrity status, which is what they cling onto.

Looking at evidence on the footballing WAGs you could be right.  So maybe there is something about their desire to get into and remain in the reflected glory of their partners, that makes these women put up with all the cheating  and lies.  However, the exception sporting celebrity WAG is the (soon to be) Mrs Tiger Woods, but maybe she is the exception that proves the Harvey Rule ;)

In my review I was not taking in the world's Sportmen in every conceivable sport.  I was talking about the Footballer's wives.  So the Harvey rule is Football only!!
