does anyone know if you can go to a lawyer here and have them put a charge on someones bank account in turkey if they claim they owe you money

Tracy your question is a bit confusing which is why you may not have had any replies - but a good solicitor should be able to help or certainly advise...

Just as a point of information if someone wants to lend some one else money, the person lending can protect themself by having a cenet drawn up - I don't know much about the detail of this but always a good idea to consult a lawyer and think about how to protect usually hard earned assets.

sorry got that a bit wrong my friend has someone who owes them money and wanted to know if they could go to a lawyer in turkey and freeze their bank account i said no but someone else said lawyers here will do what you want

I should think they'd have to get a court order.
