9 of us had excellent meal at Calis Beach. Dennis the Menace was an unlikely name but turned out owner/manager's name is Dennis (think he's Turkish -not English). It was my birthday celebration and they had very little notice of the booking - about an hour. However, table was decorated with pink petals, banners and ballons were in trees and meal was excellent; quality and service couldn't be faulted. We were asked to move to bar area where cake complete with candles appeared to strains of Happy Birthday sang to me by all - lovely evening. The greeter/waiter 'Rushie' (looks like Ian Rush) is a great guy - as witty as a scouser! We've seen him each of the last 3 years -he's always pleasant and we've had friendly banter with him. Deffo will return in 2012 to see Dennis and Rushie and enjoy the food and service. Thanks for a lovely memorable night xxxx

You are correct 'Dennis' is Turkish and his real name is Mustafa or Muzzie to his friends. We have known him for quite a few years now and he is a really nice guy. :)

Is this the same Muzzy that worked at Anna's and Merhaba please?

Hi
Could you tell me whereabouts this restaurant is please? Always like to try different places when we're over, and was also wondering where Rushie is now !!
Thanks - Em.

rushie has been taking scouse lessons from my fella

Rushie has a moustache and never shuts up, I don't think he needs any more Scouse lessons!

Another "Feather" in Dennis's cap is that he allows us to use the frontage of the restaurant for our charity sales every Wednesday plus a room for storing all our goodies in. He has been brilliant and helps us all he can. A HUGE thank you to him.His breakfasts are well worth having as well for only 7 lira.
