Title: KONYA MEVLANA restaurants

went for the 1st time to this restaurant branch near to the carrefour and otogar.
They boast of a 1.5m long pide.
It was lovely, frshly cooked and a choice of toppings from as little as 6tl each.
we ordered these and some ezme, salad etc and two lovely ice cold haf pints of fresh ayran - 20TL.
well worth a visit.
They also have a branch at ataturk ca no :63 in Fethiye so i will have to try that one too.
Place was spotless, staff very friendly and soooo yummy !

We have been to the other one and it IS brill.  Love the place.  And the pide is delicious.

Had a pide in Konya and they were like you say 1.5m long and on a nice raised platter. It wasn't til I found the Konya Mevlana in Fethiye that I saw this presentation of a pide again, so obviously it goes with the area. But the pide in Konya was more attractive on the raised platter.

Mavigoz - I know the one in Fethiye but is this place on the other side of the road from the Otogar?

Olu Deniz Lokanta (Nigels) that was.....immediately opposite Akbank :)
