Highlights of the first day of the Scottish Golf Open are on (a little late) at 11:30pm this evening on BBC2.
I had the pleasure of being there today and even I was blown away (not literally thankfully).
The scenery was absolutely breathtaking.
Even if you don't like golf why not have a look, it's stunning.

Lovely H. We are hoping to tour Scotland next year, keep saying we are going to do it especially after watching programs like coast, some of the scenery up there is breath taking. The Highlands, Rocky coast lines and also some beautiful beaches, as you will know being as you live there. So we have promised ourselves we are going to do it. We are both into photography and it is a photographers dream location.
But I will miss the sunshine and heat of Calis. :)

Nice photo H, and nice weather.

Jacx ..Scotland is a photographers dream. We have some beautiful scenery and although we complain about rain Scotland can look spectacular in all weathers.
I stay in Perthshire so if you need any help in planning let me know . I am sure H will advise on the Highlands.

Great picture Highlander there is not a lot i miss living in Turkey but i do miss my golf.

Jacx, if you get a day like we have here on the west coast this morning, you'd get some cracking photos.

Thanks for that Heather I may well take you up on that. We have been saying we are going to do it for a couple of years now and never got round to it, but It is something we really want to do, we haven't decided weather we are going to hire a mobile home and do it that way, or go by sleeper train and stay in B&B's, we haven't made any plans yet. But thanks for the offer much appreciated. :)

I know Toky, we went To cornwall last year for a week, the weather was glorious we were so lucky and from the photos I took you would think we were on the rivierra. The sky was so blue and so was the ocean. Fantastic.

I thought I started a thread ages ago on the subject of where we live, but all I could find was one that tink started in 2007 which ran to 11 pages. It's not possible to view that thread now. Might be worth reviving. Here's one to be going on with.
(PS Golf is suspended because of severe flooding AGHHHHHHHH)
