On our way back from Bodrum I stopped at a TECO garage just outside Koycegiz and I noticed a storeroom at the side of the garage full of this stuff. Brothers Pear Cider(4.7%) and Bittersweet Apple Cider (5.5%). The label on the back is in Turkish, but it is made in Brothers Drinks Co, Shepton Mallet in Somerset.

I spotted pear cider in the shop on the corner by the taxi rank today, think it might have been the same brand, will double check

Just tried the pear cider, it's ok but I don't think I'd buy any more, no real pear taste.

We don't drink cider here anymore, we drink cidre. It's like cider, but made by frogs.

Checked the shop next to taxi rank, its definitely the same pear cider in there,  but different apple cider.

You can get strongbow in the normal supermarkets now along with branston pickle, poppadoms, marmite etc. Compared to a few years ago you can get almost anything here now......apart from salt and vinegar crisps.

I couldn't find any in Kipa:(. Perhaps youdon't class Kipa as a normal supermarket ;)

They did have them in Kipa, it is where I first saw them, 2 days later they were all gone and have not been replaced, label on the shelf said that they sold out on the 14th June.:(

They have strongbow in Migros Though expensive,more than 4tl for a 250cl bottle
Brothers Cider is also in Calis Azda,

It says 250cl not 2.5 litre...if it was 4tl for 2.5 litre they would have empty shelves...lol

250 cl IS the same as 2.5 litres 100cl = 1 litre. I think the bottles of Strongbow are 330ml

The Brothers ciders are 275ml.
