Any loss of life is sad, but the loss of so many young lives in Norway is, so, so sad:(

The disappointing thing is that I saw it coming (as did others I'm sure) because of the drink and drugs, still a shock though. So much more to give as well I felt considering how brilliant Back to Black is, proof that drugs and excessive drink really are demons to the best of our talents.

RIP :(

She had an amazing voice.  I know people have been warning this could be her fate, but I always hoped she would sort herself out.  Such a sad waste.

Well,now that she's joined the "27 Club" along with with Jimi Hendrix, Brian Jones, Janice Joplin et al, the only ones that'll really miss her will be The Priory.

One thing that "upsets" me, assuming that it was a deliberate act, however sad, is the devasting affect it will have on family and friends who may well be racked with the guilty feeling of "could I have done something to prevent it"

Amy Winehouse was a very talented young woman.  She was a genius in the music industry.  If only she could have got the help she so desperately needed.  Unfortunately, I think a lot of people saw this coming - such a shame for her family and close friends and a waste of another young life.  I also agree that Back to Black was one of her best songs - she had an amazing voice.  RIP Amy x

Andy will be as upset by the events in Norway as the rest of us, he just chose to start one on poor Amy.
